I’m pleased that warmer weather is finally creeping up on us here in the UK. It seems like an eternity has passed waiting for it. The other thing I want to share is that I have started running again and feel re-inspired, rejuvenated and quite motivated. It gives me a lot of thinking and creative time as well as getting fit again, with my first half marathon planned for May 2017.
There has also been too much of a gap since my last post, and I apologise for that. It’s been non-stop as we have been working on some exciting projects which means you are going to see and hear a lot more from us, with greater regularity, and delivered with greater efficiency so you can make faster and better choices with your money!
So, lets get started with an overview of what’s to come…….. It’s all designed to help you have a better understanding and better relationship with your money so you can keep more of what you earn and break away from the herd. Go ahead, let all the crazy people burn too much of their money away every month whilst you watch from the sideline feeling rather smug that you have a better handle on your money and a future that’s beginning to look a lot brighter.
Phill’s Book Review
This first new idea came from clients who have been asking me what good books are out there that they can read in order to further their hunger for knowledge and to empower them even more. Secondly, there’s some great blogs that I read where the authors make some neat recommendations, and I like that they do that because it opens up my world even more and allows me to share some of this information with you. Hopefully my book reviews will help you develop your money mindset and money skills, and you can also tell other people about them and recommend that they sign up to receive my blog posts.
There are books I have read (some multiple times) that will empower you and help solidify what I will teach you so you can continue making better money decisions and change your habits. The first one will be later this week, so look out for it………
What do you want to read about?
This blog, along with my other resources as they grow, are there to help you. I’ve also been thinking a lot about this and realised that the best way to help you even more is to ask you more questions so I can find out what it is that you want to learn about. I’ll therefore be sending you some short surveys on an ad hoc basis using SurveyMonkey so you can have the opportunity to engage with me and tell me more about what it is that you want to learn about. I’ll also be interested in your preferred delivery methods of my media such as blog posts, videos, podcasts and ebooks.
My money coaching continues to grow aside of all of these other updates and is the cornerstone of what I do. You choose what you would like to talk about…. You choose how much time you need (I normally recommend the first session to be 1.5 hrs)…. And I then help you discover the answers to your own questions that will set you up for financial success rather than a financial disaster.
This is not about what pension plan you have or what is the best fund to invest in – i’ll refer you to a highly qualified and experienced financial adviser from my list of Trusted Advisers. What I do is help you to understand how your money really works and how to deal with often deeply ingrained misconceptions about money. We can talk about how you can break free from bad habits and the drudgery of being broke all the time by pushing aside conventional wisdom and replacing it with what you should really be doing and the new habits that you can be easily formed.
You can build your wealth, I assure you of that, but you have to make some tough choices now for an infinitely better lifestyle later on when you become financially independent and free from debt.
As an incentive for you to get on track I am pleased to offer all new coaching clients a discount of between 25% and 50% on my coaching sessions, which applies to all types from a single session right up to a 12 months. If you would like to discuss your needs and book some time in with me, please email me so we can check availability, agree your goals and get started on this journey together………
Another growing area request is to give talks on all kinds of money matters. It might be a business event, or to a group of employees, it might be a family or it might even be a community organisation, a school or a non-profit. In either case I’d be happy to talk about your needs, so email me if you want some options.
In conclusion, I sincerely hope that my coaching and resources will help you and I’m excited to be able to grow the business into what you need it to be so that you can become better at managing your money. You can learn how to keep more of it and then decide how to make it grow so that you really can have a future worth looking forward to instead of wondering if the local state pension and/or your private pension and savings will be enough (they probably won’t be). Don’t guess when it comes to your financial future, just learn how to make the right choices.

If you are broke, you need to buy what you can afford until you are not broke, otherwise you will remain broke.
